http://peacemakergame.com/PeaceMaker is a turn-based strategy game that simulates the Israeli-Palestine Conflict. Each turn is one week. As you might guess from the name, your goal is to make peace with the other side. You can play as either Israel or Palestine. Be pissed off by the terrorist groups fighting "for your people". Be denied aid money by the U.N. Lose in three turns by ordering a missile strike.
Being head of state isn't easy.
It's available on Amazon for the low, low price of $1.99. 100,000 copies were distributed to schools in both Israel and Palestine.
I played this in my World History class. We went through 6 games in 40 minutes, including the "lose in three turns by attacking Palestine immediately". I managed to last almost a year as Palestine before Hamas decided that it wanted somebody else in charge, which took 30 minutes.
