I don't see the problem here, if kids want to look at research they would do it at home, why would you want to jerk it / see someone jacking it in a public place?
the article does bring up making filters part of the software packaged with devices like the iPhone, which I think is dumb however banning research in a public place makes sense
well yes I agree with that, but there's already laws against jerking it in public
the problem is: they're wasting money on dumb stuff to 'protect' the new generation from research, which they claim is degenerative/addictive. it's instilling religious values into something people are going to be forced to follow as well
and also, by announcing that this grumpy ass old mans gonna make laws against it probably has a mass of children viewing it and see what all the fuss is
so, really, it's a dumbass politician making stuff decisions that's gonna hurt the 'tech-friendly' state that utahs trying to turn into.
