Author Topic: Do you listen to all of a bands music?  (Read 1904 times)

i usually give the band a once-over to see which albums I like, then I add all of them to my library. after a few weeks I've removed all the songs I don't like and put my favorites in a separate playlist for later.

I don't usually, no.
I tend to find one of their songs I really like, usually on YouTube, and get recommendations for their other biggest songs. I give those a go, and generally like most of the stuff that is popular.

But when I have dug into certain artists/bands more obscure songs, I generally find they don't hold up quite so well.

there's only two artists i listen to all of and they're completely different genres, Aesop Rock and Audioslave

im slowly working my way through Radiohead

other than the queens of the stone age i haven't really gone through all of a band's music

can't get enough qotsa though

i've had every single release by the birthday massacre on my phone for almost 3 years

I've listened to pretty much all of Pink Floyd so far, except special editons, live version, and the division bell.

For the most part, yes. At the very least I'll fully listen to certain albums by an artist.

I don't listen to many artists, But my favourite went from this which I'm not a fan of to this which I am a fan of, So I don't go for every album. Generally I get one album then If I listen to that much I go backwards by age.
