I don't deny that birth control is not 100% effective, we all know it can fail sometimes. However I was specifically referring to carelessness as being a poor excuse to have an abortion and that one should never relax on protection or do anything which should increase the risk of getting pregnant (as a result of feeling that abortion is a viable option regardless of the protection they have)
