maybe he's into that you never know

Its much too risky not going to the doctor. The reason blood in urine or stool is such a huge red flag is because those two are the main routes the body gets rid of waste. For example if you break down proteins for energy (your body can do this at lack of a better source), ammonium-ions are created which are toxic and are passed out via urine. A crack in the ahem exit wall can lead to severe infections.

It could range from haemorrhoids to IBD to cancer in the worst case scenario, but whatever the cause it should be found, just in case it's one of the more serious conditions that need to be treated.

Rip op, it's like I never knew you.

i dont eat beets for this very reason, so i can inspect my stuff easier without confusion.

also because beets are loving gross.

if the blood is bright red, its probably just hemorrhoids or rectal irritation. if you're having actual intestinal bleeding your stools will be dark red or black.
Nope, bright red is also colon bleeding

Anyways, if you can you should visit a gastrointestinal doctor instead of a general doctor.
