I don't know what's with feminists. You can't apparently hate the new ghost busters just because it sucks these days, no.  They have to call you a loveist pig now because it stars women in it.

We hate it because no one asked for it. It's not even a continuation of the series, they basically just remade the franchise and used an all gender swapped cast (the receptionist is a male). The all female cast was just a gimmick.

It would have made more sense if they went with the way of Extreme Ghostbusters which the original cast passes the torch and allows newer, younger people to become ghostbusters. Which by the way, Extreme Ghostbusters is more diverse than this all female one.
