Author Topic: Do banks in your city/country limit ATM withdrawal?  (Read 1090 times)

I'm limited to $1.500 Ars daily which is roughly $100 USD. This is bullstuff because if I need more, I need to make that endless line at the bank.

Anyone else?

I think I'm only allowed £300 out at once from my bank

$1000 here for my bank. Though it varies bank to bank. Typically $500-$2500.

it's a decide for yourself here

i've got one card with a €150 limit i take daily, and another with €2500 on ATM/stores and unlimited online.

I have a $300 atm limit and $2k-something daily purchase limit. But I can call the bank and change those if needed. At least I can (and have) with the purchase limit, I'm not entirely sure about the ATM limit

In the UK most, if not all accounts are limited to something like £200/300 per day from cash machines (ATMs) to help limit fraudulent usage of stolen credit/debit cards

I can pay with my card anything up to $1000 ars. If I spend more, I need to verify my ID. For ATM withdrawal, unchangeable 1.5k limit.

I'm not sure because I'm too poor enough to extract more than $100

varies on what your card allows and what bank you're in

My bank only allows $1000 per day. It's a pain in the richard policy.

mine is only limited to whatever i call them and tell them to set it at.

also, why are you needing cash when you have a card.
what year is this.

It's nice to have some cash on you in case you manage to find a store that doesn't have a card reader (ice-cream vans for example) or if the store has a minimum purchase for card transactions but you want to spend less than that amount (small art-supply shops are a great example of this situation).

That being said I have no idea why you'd need more than £20-40 in a day. Maybe few stores have card readers in Argentina, who knows.

I once paid with a card for a $2 item because I am a monster.
