Need Help with Addons. Again.

Downloading Add-Ons and they come as a folder in Windows and they manage to work.
As the OP says; in Mac, the Add-Ons appear as a folder and they don't load. Apparently, Blockland treats addons differently on Mac. I also, thought they would work as folders in Mac; then I realized that Blockland reads add-ons as WinRAR files and Windows Folders. Closest answer I could get to; possibly someone else knows why.

Yeah I'm not going to buy WinRAR just so I can load addons on a single game, any other solutions?

iirc winrar is a "paid" app: you can pay for the full version, which is the same as the trial version. Except the trial version has no time limit.

The main problem here is that nobody has noticed that you don't have WinRAR, which is why the add-ons you download come as folders. Winrar is available for Mac.
 
Which is why the problem about the add-ons appearing as folders persists.

First of all, WinRAR is free, trial version has no time limit; like Conan said.

1: Go to the WinRAR website and to the downloads.
2: Find the WinRAR download link available for your operating system.
3: Click on the download link and run the installer.
4: All you got to do is confirm things with the installer and you are done.

Once you installed WinRAR, download Add-Ons again and they should appear as a .zip file. (WinRAR is zip and rar)
To test that you have WinRAR installed, create a .rar file by right clicking - new.

So I ended up getting UnRARX, which works, but I have no clue how to use it. I selected Browse to try do convert a test addon to .rar, or whatever it is, but, it won't let me select it as a .zip file and I can't select a folder.

Actually, uninstall that. UnRARx is crap, best one is IZIP, it works with .zip and rar. I just noticed that UnRARx is only for .rar files. Sorry for the inconvience.
Anyways, download IZIP, it is free too, trustable and easy to use. Hopefully that will be the conclusion, god damn Blockland complications for Mac.

If you installed IZIP and the files that you download again are not appearing as .zip files..... Well that's bad. Tried right clicking and clicking on new and checked to see if there was the option to create a .zip or .rar file?

Also, did you tried installing WinRAR on the site? (Not RAR)

HOLY forget I FIGURED IT OUT. I had to copy and paste all of my files from client and server in my Blockland from Documents and paste it into the one under Steam, but, of course, I'm having another issue. I can't see player faces or shirt prints wtf.

Ah, you have the non-steam of Blockland, right?
If so, navigate to base/data/shapes/player and transfer face.ifl and decal.ifl to the steam version.
