Author Topic: Has anyone ever tried making one of these 2 (moderately) old cars?  (Read 1593 times)

I would really love it if someone made a 2001 Nissan Sentra GXE for Blockland. It's one of the cars that made me love Nissan. It's also one of my favorites. Another one is a 2002 Ford Escape. I would really love one of these cars, as I am a big fan of early 2000 cars.

Lets hope this atleast gets 1 or 2 posts...

Early 2000s is not old school

Since when is 15 years ago "old school"

Well, now I sound like a true dumbass. Anyways, I love early 2000s cars. Always will.

Those are two very specific cars so I highly doubt it.

My apologies if this bump gives you false hope, but I feel I should explain why I'm not going to take up this suggestion

It took many hours and compromises to make a remotely blockland-appropriate version of the Crown Victoria's rear end.

This level of smooth curviness is what made me decide I'm going to stop replicating real life cars

and this...

...I choose not to model.

Sadly the early 2000s were not a great time for non-curvy vehicles. I went ahead with the Crown Vic since a) my brother has one and b) it's super iconic as an american taxi / police car. sadly I just don't have enough of a reason to deal with the sentra's level of roundness. (at least, not while I have as many planned projects as I do)

Well, if you do plan making it later on, (like if you change your mind..) it does not have to be a replica, completely round, etc. Thanks for bumping tho.

What about the Ford Escape? Have you thought about modeling that? (early 2000 one.) Fun fact about it: It had the same design from 2000 or so to 2007. #1 favorite ford for me.

rest in pieces, thread. You were useless.

Early 2000s is not old school
Give it another ~30 years
