im not gonna make a whole detailed topic about this because mmorpgs dont seem to be popular around here (with the exception of runescape)

it just got added to steam a little while ago as a free-to-play, been around since 2014. its very complete and well put together, kind of a goofy/dark humor feel to it set in the future (spaceships, lasers, ect). also has a house building feature which is p cool for you creative types. not grindy imo, nothing is pay-to-win, all in-game purchases are purely cosmetic as far as i can tell (with the exception of the "jumpstart" pack which you can instantly unlock housing and get ingame currency and some cosmetics (it took me about two days to unlock housing so its really not an advantage)

yeah when it came out, it was originally the same kindve deal as WoW, with a monthly subscription and whatnot. but i guess they realized that wasn't too great of a strategy, especially after their playerbase was incredibly small. so they made it completely free and this steam release has made the playerbase skyrocket again.

dungeon/expedition/adventure/pvp que times are still a little long (at least for higher levels), but its apparently a lot better then before
