Author Topic: My parents make me do the bills at age 13?!  (Read 7089 times)

Khaz is trying to distance himself from everybody by not reading the thread and saying everybody else is stuff. It gives him a warm feeling inside when he gets to call everybody out even when there's nothing to call out.
no ubishills on my board get out those assassins creed tickets wont sell themselves

putting the responsibility of bill payments on a 13 year old who is dyslexic on top of that and then punishing him when he's trying to figure out why the forget his parents are doing this is horrible lol
He's right

Its once a loving week, all the people on OP's side act like he's doing this every loving day and doing expense reports and filing business taxes all for his parents. Its some goddamn bills once a loving week.

And whose to say his parents are in any better state? He's talked about his problems, and told us barely anything about what the situation is like for his parents. Maybe their store is failing and they're under excruciating stress? Maybe they're (misinformed and) think it'll help him (in which case he should have complained specifically about his dyslexia and his parents rather than going on about how oppressed he is for being forced to work slave-labour style)?

i mean idk i just found it funny that people were telling daswiruch and the OP to basically stfu because he isn't an adult and doesn't know anything about "adult things"

that argument itself insinuates that only adults can do "adult things" so this kid definitely should not be doing adult things such as paying bills when he should be worrying about schoolwork

that is speculation and doesn't disprove my point at all

Why
clownfish is just another kumquat do not engage

clownfish is just another kumquat do not engage
excuse me there is only one kumquat and he does not fight people like I do

Complaining about not being able to not get a job even though he could isn't the same as having to do the bills as a chore once a week

Not really? I have already said that its a good skill to learn. forget, if his parents teach him how to do regular 'ol taxes every once in a while, he'd be set.
There's lots of things I'd have liked to learn at his age, instead of now.

you're not understanding

it's an adult responsibility that shouldn't be burdening a disabled 13 year old. simple as that.

and stuff if i weren't able to get a job in my area i'd be complaining too

it is a good skill to learn, however i just dont think it should be such a forced "burden" i guess at the age of 13 like his parents are making it

oh well. personally i think stuff like this should be taught around late high school that way we have it somewhat freshly imprinted in our minds for post-HS

disabled
ok being dyslexic is a disability but you don't need to bold and underline it
he's not in a loving wheelchair

disabled 13
Having trouble reading isn't a loving disability

has OP even explained what "doing the bills" is?
