Having trouble reading isn't a loving disability
dyslexia HINDERS one's ABILITY to read. cmon man

Quote
Dyslexia is a specific learning disability ("difference" ADA adapted) that is neurological in origin. It is characterised by difficulties with accurate and/or fluent word recognition and by poor spelling and decoding abilities.

There are lots of people with dyslexia who learn to get through life just fine. Its not a life crippling disability. You shouldn't be treated like a baby just because you have dyslexia.

Maybe I should REPHRASE that FOR you

Yeah sure he's technically disabled by you phrased it like he's stuck in a bed 24/7

all of your arguments that involve "people in africa have it worse" and "when I was a kid, we had to..." are dumb and boring and only tries to trivialise the problem by topping it

i don't know about whether the actual issue is legit or not but that argument is lame

okay but he presumably already has some problems with his dyslexia at school and maybe at home, and his parents are forcing this responsibility and then loving shutting him out and putting him down because he has yet another problem with the bullstuff that his parents should be doing

this all the way

lack of information is a problem but guilty until proven innocent isn't the way to go

I haven't seen anyone pose this as an argument. The first part of that sentence is such an exacerbation of anything anyone could have possibly said here, too.

lack of information is a problem but guilty until proven innocent isn't the way to go
when did i say any of that? i just want to know if he's blowing it out of proportion or not

okay but he presumably already has some problems with his dyslexia at school and maybe at home, and his parents are forcing this responsibility and then loving shutting him out and putting him down because he has yet another problem with the bullstuff that his parents should be doing
1) He's home schooled
2) Stop acting like he has to this every waking minute. It's once a week

when did i say any of that? i just want to know if he's blowing it out of proportion or not
iunno it just kinda seemed like that was the implication of it
mb if I misunderstood
1) He's home schooled
what does that have anything to do with what you quoted, just because he's homeschooled doesn't mean he doesn't read lol

1) He's home schooled
forgot. still tho
2) Stop acting like he has to this every waking minute. It's once a week
im not.

im telling it like it is. read the OP again. his parents sound like complete cunts. that simple

So he shouldn't do a chore because his parents sound like cunts?

okay but he presumably already has some problems with his dyslexia at school and maybe at home,
