I think the amount you save not having to pay for child support and alimony outweigh the tax bonuses by miles.

Seriously that is the most worn out and pitiful excuse I've ever heard.  The reason 50% of marriages end in divorce is because no one takes marriage seriously anymore and as soon as the going gets tough they find it easier to just say forget it and divorce instead of actually working through it.

This is partially due to legislation on divorce, like the no-fault divorce law, which basically means that someone can file for divorce for almost no reason at all.  Marry someone you love and don't divorce as soon as the other person sneezes wrong and you'll be fine.

Well I'm still kinda open to ideas if somebody can put it well.

But so far all I can see is, especially after the new police thing in Nottinghamshire, is that a Man is in the more risky position.
