Oh no, here comes another rant or some stuff. None of this was from tumblr, that is just a hole full of cancer

I've seen enough of the LGBT, or whatever the forget they're adding to it now, community to discover that a lot of their "points" are by far some of the most autistic things I've ever read. One of the big ones is "assigning genders". Apparently people have a problem with doctors announcing, "It's a boy/girl!" after a child is delivered saying that you shouldn't assign genders to someone who hasn't made their mind up yet. What in the hell? Of the amount of children born in, say, 1990 how many actively identify as the opposite gender? A very small amount, there is no reason to change a tradition because of a small percentage being offended.

I'm pretty sure it's LGBTQHDGEUGENCNCHFGWBNGUTH+

just remember overall through all of this that there's not many more stupid people than before its just that stupid people can really easily get their voice heard now

also inb4 entire liberal party gets thrown under the bus

its depressing knowing where our species is going after all these that we've existed.

What a wonderful world we live in

[Insert "If I had a ______ for every existing gender" here]

Parts of LGBT community has descended into utter madness.

If something like that got passed there'd be such a growth in far right extremists and I wouldn't blame them.

There is a lot of madness that lurks beneath the LGBTQA+ umbrella, but at this point I wonder how much of these people you guys always rant about even exist, and how much of them are imaginary strawmen you make up to be angry about.

as an LGBT member i support equal rights across the board but this is bullstuff lol

"It's a boy/girl!"

Anyone that argues this is literally saying that love is an identity. That is very far from the truth and at this point I'm debating whether or not you're trying to use blatant generalizations to strawman.

Well it depends on what your definition of "real" is

insecure teens/young adults trying to show their uniqueness by slapping a ton of labels on themselves because they can't compensate for lack of personality

i don't care if you want to play pretend or whatever. i don't want to hear about it, and i'm not going to be chastised for not being agreeing with it. basically "keep it to yourself because no-one else cares."

There is people getting triggered by being born with a male/female name. They say that we should end gender specific names.

So instead of Tony I would be known as Xoni because it's gender neutral.

Have to add an X or Z.

Complaining about it and generalizing people doesn't help.
Nor does referencing the past.

Certainly there are a lot of people who flock to social justice and queerness as a means to feel self-righteous and to cast themselves as plucky rebels but if you just avoid liberal arts college campuses and some small portion of Tumblr then you'll probably do fine by just respecting people and their identities. If you don't talk about someone you don't even have to worry about pronouns.

Also it's good to make a distinction between biological love and gender, because while they are by default the same, when they differ it's generally obvious and easy to remember.
If you're searching for people who actively make asses out of themselves over gender then you will find them, but they won't come and kill you because you can't remember their pronouns. Most of your problems can be solved by just not associating with idiots.

Here's something I've wondered about.

How much of these imaginary strawmen get made up for only other people to take it seriously and start identifying as that race/gender/age/etc and then eventually it becomes a real thing recognized by the LGBT?
