Is Doom worth the 48 bucks? I already spent around 70 on JC3 and TPP. Have there been any other sales that were better for it?

I always have and always will find the Steam Sale timing ridiculous. My birthday and tax returns don't happen for a week after the fact, which means I have literally no money going into it and either have to accrue and then pay off debt or sit it out. This year I scrapped some cash, but that's not good enough for every year. loving Valve and their timing.

its never gone for more than 40% off. its pretty insane that its dropped this much already. since its gone so cheap already, i wouldnt be surprised if it went -60% next sale, or even on a daily deal/weekend sale.

i bought it a few days ago and im having fun with it. snapmap is pretty nice, although not many people seem to play in public lobbies, but there are plenty of fun single player maps. single player so far has been pretty good and i can see myself doing several playthroughs of it, mostly on the easiest difficulty just to blast through without a care in the world
