Author Topic: Blogland: YOW brother I JUST PASSED MY DRIVERS EXAM  (Read 2896 times)

Driving standards say that you should always look backwards. I would agree, though, I feel that this notion is quite useless in many situations.

My problem is that I'm a short person and don't see much out the back windows of my sedans. I still do look behind me, but I cannot safely rely on only that.

I still haven't even attempted the test and it has been about a year since I last drove a car

only thing i screwed up on was backing into a parking space

didn't actually get my license until i was 173/4, it sucked
Lol I didn't get mine until 19.

i have my permit and in november im eligible to take the exam for my actual license. im kinda nervous to because i already drive a lot and i've gotten in bad habits of stuff like stopping at a stop sign past it. normally youre supposed to stop at the line or parallel to the sign and then creep up to see but since i drive a lot i usually dont do that and just stop at the point im able to see clearly.

I still have mine to do... eventually.

i passed mine really easily, the only thing was is that i didn't look over my shoulder when merging left or right and only used my mirrors. oops.

my teacher was awesome, he was some black dude in his late 20-somethings and we talked about guitar and musicians throughout the drive

Okay so recently I helped a girl at work get her license by giving her tips and even recommending the same DMV that I used to get her license test done (she kept failing, but I knew the one I used was more lenient on grading). She gets her license first time trying that location and she's all happy, see.

So of course, she wants to drive me around in her car. I've since ridden with her in her car a few times since then and dare I say those have been some of the scariest moments I've had in the past month. I'm trying to stay low key at pointing out when there's a car in her blind spot or a light is turning yellow but man. Last time I rode with her and she saw me tense in my seat when she almost merged into the side of a GMC, she said and I quote, "Haha maybe I should've let you drive."

Ehhhaahahehheh....

Sorry but breaking another radiator hose doesn't fit very well into the cards. ALTHOUGH....

I got exactly $170 in cash for my birthday to make up for the towing and repairs, which happened to cost exactly that much SOOOOO I could do it again in exchange for a lot of trouble on other people driving me around.

im not even done taking my driving test because im practicing lol
