[meta] is there any way to get notified when someone quotes you?

I just remembered SMF has all this notification bullstuff as a feature. Is it at all useful? I don't want to get notified for every reply after I post something, but if someone quotes me then that'd be a good thing to be notified of.

I wouldnt mind if I got a PM or something like that, but I've never found a setting. I don't think its possible.

you could just check the thread you posted in like the rest of us

i don't believe there is but you can just go to profile, show last posts, click on stuff you recently posted, and then scroll down

That's typically what I do, but I wonder what happens when threads I post in get pushed to page 2 and I miss replies to me. Whatever then.
