Author Topic: The Chronology of the Blockland Forums  (Read 319891 times)

Pretty sad that this forum's been in decline for a while. But then again nothing has been happening with the game and people getting their lives together, it's kinda crazy to think that I'm double the age of when i joined.

literally everyone who used this forum back in its heyday is an adult now. i'm willing to bet everyone still playing is also an adult now too.

you're an adult in middle school. congrats on making it out of the 6th grade buddy.

Unrelated to the Chronology, but related in that it's Blockland adjacent; Vinny Vinesauce played the Brickadia demo and LOVED it!

I would like to point out that as of now it only takes 749 topics started to reach the high score board. to knock trogtor out of the high score board.

I'm going to commit a historical event.

Given the history of the forums/people vaguely related to blockland, this is a mildly concerning statement.  :cookieMonster:

Alright my bet is we make it to 2028, 2030 max.

as long as the forums remain profitable to badspot in some insignificant way, this website will be up forever.

I'm not convinced it's even profitable to him. I think he died and forgot to turn us off.

>Makes a game that appeals to kids and teens
>Gives said kids and teens a social space with minimal rules
>Gets angry at kids/teens for getting unruly without actually breaking the few rules that exist
>Refused to hire moderators outside of a guy that made a mod who later quit after being disappointed and later a friend who then went to go make their own game
>Tells established community of edgy/rowdy teenagers to kill themselves

Badspot was as much of a problem as the community, he did that to himself pretty much
