I've been an avid AMD user for GPU's for a while. Haven't had the chance to really use a high end Nvidia, but I've had problems with Nvidia cards in my PC in the far past. Definitely an experience that turned me off from Nvidia for a while. Would give Nvidia another shot as long as it isn't a garbage card.

I'm just waiting for AMD's Zen so I could be let down by AMD one last time before their stock prices plummet into the ground.

radeon sounds cooler than geforce

radeon sounds cooler than geforce
But GeForce is literally cooler than Radeon.

Stop getting DOAs and installing your cards incorrectly? :y

I've owned a ton of AMD and Nvidia hardware and I've got to say that the whole driver argument is absolute BS.

Nvidia has had many recent driver forgetups recently. the current one, 368.39, seems to be pretty unstable for GTX 10XX users.

AMD has a Shadowplay equivalent called GameDVR.

if you think AMD has drivers worse than Nvidia, you're living in 2011.

This is coming from someone who has a GTX 1080 and upgraded from an R9 390X

I've used geforce since my first PC and still use one now

Went from a FX to an nForce to the GTX 980 Ti.

NVidia's GTX 1080 is pretty good
I also haven't experienced any driver issues, despite expecting to with all of the reviews I was reading about the alienware graphics amplifier + the 1080 together

The Nvidia cards were ones already in the PC.

Sounds like stuffty assembly then... stop buying from other people and build it yourself.

>implying every PC in my household hasn't been built by me

well... saying the card was already in the PC does imply that...
