S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat. Really, the spooky AF and depressing atmosphere is enough to sell the game. But the hardcore aspect, combined with really unique game-play elements like the artifact hunting, combined with some really cool community mods, makes STALKER easily the most atmospheric and immersive game I've ever played.

The earlier minecraft days. I've sunk a lot of loving time into that game. The OG survival game before the survival genre just kinda turned into the latest meme.

Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor. Good example of a game that's actually designed to be badass and engaging. The dialogue, the sound design, the soundtrack, stuff is just flawless man. Visceral beat em up combat with all sorts of cool alternative game-play paths.

GTAV, for it's online gameplay in particular. Super good game for socializing mainly. You can play this game with anyone and there's always stuff to do even years after launch.

Blockland, obviously. Childhood game that I still play. That's quite a feat. Can't explain why it's good. Just is.

Halo 3
Left 4 Dead 2
Saints Row 2
Star Wars: The Old Republic
KOTOR 1 and 2
Half-Life series
Bioshock series
Blockland
Fable 1 to 3

i loving love metro 2033 so much on so many levelsmits so good

1) Blockland (doi)
2) PAYDAY 2
3) Left 4 Dead 2
4) Team Fortress 2
5) Killing Floor 1 (KF 2 also, but i no have)
6) Psychonauts
7) Terarria
8) Viscera Cleanup Detail
9) IMSCARED
10) LEGO Worlds

There's something about S.T.A.L.K.E.R.S. atmosphere that just amazes me, the oldest one. Shadow of Chernobyl is 9 years old and still looks great to me, mostly because all of the stuff adds up, the gritty environment depressing music and real time environment. It's a game I would recommend to anyone who wants a nice survival horror game.

Fallout New Vegas also gives me this cozy vibe whenever I play it probably because I just love the theme and setting of the game.

1) Metroid Prime 2 and 3 - Will always be tops for me, great mechanics, fantastic atmosphere. The whole package. Never fully played through 1 but I heard it was on the same level as the other 2 so yeah.

2) Undertale - The community turned to stuff pretty fast but that doesn't kill my love for the game.

3) Blockland - Only game I have spent 8000+ hours in, or even close.

4) Overwatch - My favorite online shooter atm, just loads of fun, but pretty stressful.

5) X-Com 1 and 2 - Despite the bugs and timer in the second game, the x-com series will probably always be my favorite turn based strategy games.

Edit: 6) How could I forget Ori and the Blind Forest, literally my favorite platformer.

Favourite VR games so far (since getting my Vive)

Rec Room - Community gym in VR where you can talk to other people, hang out, and play sports together.

Hot Dogs, Horseshoes, and Hand Grenades - Extensively American VR shooting range/gun simulator.

The Cubicle - WORK WORK WORK WORK WORK

Budget Cuts - VR spy game with throwing knives.

Favourite games so far (since getting my PC)

Garry's Mod - Need I say more?

Blockland - Horrible game with bad community, stay away! It's dying!

Just Cause 2 - Directed by yours truly. (Yes, I had JC3, it just didn't like my hardware. Several other people had my problem.)

stuff, accidentally posted, one second! There, I fixed everything.

Don't really play games besides NBA 2k

Hyper Light Drifter, League of Legends, Overwatch, Starbound, Cubeworld
Hyper Light Drifter is a beautiful game with a beautiful soundtrack and great story and enough content to keep you going for a while
League of Legends is something you can get better at, and regardless of all the terrible and angry people on it, it's still pretty nice to work together with a team like that
Overwatch is like League but with less/more easily ignored toxicity. I don't really play shooters but I'm getting better
Starbound I like a lot. I dunno why, it's just nice. Space, building, aliens, exploring, mining, whatever.
Cubeworld is really pretty and really simple and great for exploring casually, but also for relatively challenging boss fights with the option of multiplayer.

bloodborne because it forces you to be hyper aggressive and also there's a boss called living failures and i connect with them spiritually

tony hawk pro skater 4 is my favorite game and you can't say anything bad about it

bravely default because it's got a great story, fanTASTIC, music, and it handles RPG mechanics perfectly

also the megaman zero series which I've played through about five or six times and still never get tired of it. everything is just amazing about those games.
