What is EVE online?
Eve Online (stylised EVE Online) is a persistent world massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) developed and published by CCP Games. Players of Eve Online can participate in a number of in-game professions and activities, including mining, piracy, manufacturing, trading, exploration, and combat (both player versus environment and player versus player). The character advancement system is based upon passively training skills in real time, even while not logged into the game.

EVE is basicly what a perfect game for me is, besides the subscription ofcourse, Ive always wanted a cool MMORPG set in space and ive tried allot of games such as Elite: D or star citizens and none of them brought me that, only EVE did. Well if you dont want to pay you can always try a 14 day trial but it doesnt give you the complete experience

Factions

EVE has 4 factions where you can choose from and. I usually choose Caldari since its closest to Jita (trade hub). Every faction has his pros and cons. Picking one is a very importand decision.  Well thats all I can say about it really.

Ships
Ehm, theres allot of them. Theyre devided into the 4 factions ships, ORE ships (mining and ), And the pirate factions ships wich are devided into Angel Cartel, Blood Raiders, Guristas, Mordu's legion, Sansha's nation, Serpentis and sisters of EVE.
Yup there are allot of them, heres a list.

ust 514 (stylized as EVE: DUST 514) was a free-to-play first-person shooter developed by CCP Games for the PlayStation 3. Dust 514 took place in New Eden and was directly connected to CCP's game Eve Online. There was direct interaction between the two; player actions in one game affected the political, economic, legal, environmental, and social status of the other. The two games were officially connected on January 10, 2013 in preparation for the open beta on January 22. The full game was released worldwide on May 14, 2013. While previews of the game were highly positive, the full game received a mixed reception upon its initial release although it has made numerous improvements with constant updates and hotfixes. The game was shut down by CCP on May 30, 2016.

Dust isnt really eve itself but okay

But it is because I can communicate with Dust 514 players through Eve Online.

Dust 514 players can transfer their money to your corporations on Eve Online.

You can help out Dust 514 players through orbital strikes.

The game apperently shut down
k

I had no idea it was closed though.

It was pretty cool I was able to communicate with people from Eve Online and asked them to send me an orbital strike from their space ship.

aw man dust shut down?

either way EVE online is cool as hell and the game really shines in nullsec or lowsec space. i remember one of my first adventures in EVE was joining a blockland corp around six years ago

funny that this thread popped up-- i was thinking about resubbing again, but i don't know. each time i do i always get distracted by other games because i never find a community i invest myself into enough to continue paying

i'm almost at the point where i can pay for my sub through my in-game monthly income though

I'm down to start playing again if we get a corp going
i have a few battleships to play with

Yeah
Everything is cool about eve if only it wasnt a subscription. Its kind of a grindfest tho for isk if you have a small understanding of the game. This is my 4th time starting again and I managed to pile up 10+ million isk in 2 days trough trading so i got that going for me.

Oh damn
Maybe we can make a blockland corp?

i'd love to but idk if i want to resub for something that may last only a month or two like a lot of BLF group things... :(

it would mean i would have to leave Brave Newbies' Recon Division and it would forget my rep with them
