Author Topic: rant: mediafire is a terrible loving website and you should stop using it  (Read 4577 times)

I really hope it dies.
Despite the fact that I hate MediaFire with a burning passion, I would rather it stay online so that old uploads aren't erased forever.

Script blockers
I turned off adblock and this is literally all I see when Im at the download page

but yeah, no ads should link you to anything malicious/malware when its such a highly used site

Use either a script with tampermonkey or ublock because apperently adblock takes bribes
Ive never seen any ads with adblock, if we're talking about this one
https://getadblock.com/

mediafire was okay a long time ago

but as of four or five years back it became infected with annoying as forget advertisements

Can't say I ever see any ads on Mediafire, do you people not use adblocker or something?

there's still malicious popups even if you have an adblocker
