ok, sure. i'm not a big comic book fan or even a fan of the movies or anything so i don't have much investment in the canon, but this doesn't necessarily mean anything is going to be worse. they're just putting someone different in the same place, isn't that something that happens fairly often when you have these long-running series? you can't use the same personality for that long before you run out of things to explore with it
