How can she reverse engineer his armor? Wouldn't you need his armor for that?
The article mentions it was an old armor so she may have gotten her hands on it somehow. She is an MIT student maybe the school had access to it.

Or maybe they just meant she made a copy of an old armor by observing the behavior of it while he was using it.

also wtf does this mean it has to mean something but i'm skeptical that it does

They're using 'four-letter word' as a euphemism for swear words like 'forget', 'stuff', 'cunt', etc. They're saying "That's for using 'feminist' like a bad word." For example, if a girl said something, and I replied "loving feminist," I would be using 'feminist' like a bad word.

What I don't understand is the intentional diversification of stuff. You can't flood the market with minority stars to fix decades worth of inequality. People also become attached to symbols, and when they are taken away people feel robbed of them. It's easy to redirect that anger at someone who replaced Tony Stark for a reason other than "it was the best way for the storyline to continue."

I mean it would help. Also, representation is important because whether you now it or not, the media unconsciously shapes our perception. For example, alot of the "beautiful" black women in movies have straight hair ( which isn't how most black women hair actually is ) an light skin which trains girls at a young age that curly / afro hair an dark skin isnt desirable. I know this to be the case because alot of my friends who are black women dont have the courage an haven't wore their natural hair since they were toddlers. They feel the nee to straighten it or get weave, wigs, so-ins, etc to feel beautiful.

Did you see the Thor comic above? It looks like they hired new writers for this stuff. Probably the reason the characters changed in the first place.
yeah but that's the fault of stuffty writers, not casting a woman as thor. if you have stuffty writers then you aren't going to have a good comic regardless of if your protagonist is white, trans, willy wonka, or a t-rex made out of legos

that stupit

It's the ANAD universe tho.

Where they change the characters anyways. Iron Man was due for a change because he was the only person on the ANAD avengers that wasn't changed already.

I disagree. I think it makes the situation worse, because instead of producing content equally, you're producing content that is heavily biased towards certain races. Sounds like the exact problem we had before, just flipped around. It's also disingenuous. I don't think any of the rest of your comment had any relevance to this topic, so I just removed it.

Maybe if you're a mindless loving idiot sure. But that's like saying video games cause kids to be violent. If you're letting the media shape what you think of an entire race you might as well kill yourself now since your taking up precious oxygen. Especially when it comes to fictional characters.

No one I know thinks that black women have straight hair naturally. Most either thinks it's curly or don't give a forget.

I'll take "stuff that never happened" for 200. They don't have the courage to wear their hair a certain way? Don't give me that stuff. I see women of all colours dye and shave their heads in the dumbest, most socially handicapped ways imaginable.

they even made a lego minifig of him

nick fury never used to be samuel jackson

jane foster is also worthy of using thors hammer and becomes thor at one point

my bad.

ANAD means All New All Different. It's the name of the post Secret Wars universe that was created.
I'm not sure how it parallels with the original marvel universe so i have to read up more on that.

We are also turning Superman into a genderfluid crippled black midget with elephantitis and autism.
Why bother with worldbuilding and writing when we can just do this so the people incapable of reading can sympathise with him inmediatly simply because of his race, loveual identity and handicaps.

I think you can change the gender and race of a character if you stay true to the way they were written originally, you can't like turn something like Batman into a quirky lesbian you'd completely destroy his character and the batman universe.
Changing the race, gender and whatnot of a character still remains a completely handicapped move because it is nowhere near necesarry, if you really want to make a genderqueer autistic chickenboy who fights crime, make a new loving character for it, don't ruin existing characters.
There are however some characters who can work regardless of race, gender is a tougher one because a character with a lot of manly traits in his personality would need to be rewritten and that's something you should avoid, especially on decade old characters.

Reading up on this the alternate universe was only established in 2015. And reading up on what they changed it seems to only be characters and guess what? They all coincidentally change to either be gay, a different race, or be a woman. This "universe" was only made to appeal to SJWs.

They should call it Iron Woman then if its a lady.
