F.lux changes your monitor tone to filter out some of the light than can screw up your biological day/night cycle (circadian rhythm), especially later at night.

Its currently 5:30pm as I type this in scotland, somehow its sunny here but disabling flux after using it for well over 6 months makes my screen physically painful to look at.

Do you use it? If you don't I would highly recommend testing it out for a week and seeing if you can still stand the normal screen afterwards. (Its free)

yes, normal screen is fine during the day but at night its loving

yeah it's pretty good

i used to have it and i liked it
it screwed with colors on my drawings at night tho

i use flux on my phone. at first, you could really tell that everything looked orange and weird. Over time though, I got used to it and it's really good, I don't have to squint or anything when checking my phone at night. It's got to the point where its normal now and it looks weird without it. My friends have even asked why my phone looks so orange, yet I don't notice that, it looks normal for me.

Theres an f.lux app for internet browsing on iphone, but its ad ridden to stuff and worse than IE4.

I swear to loving god when this phone eventually bricks it I'm never touching apple again, I've had it for 3 years now and its only got a minor scratch so I think im just gonna have to suffer tho

You can disable it
i knew you could for an hour but not for the rest of the night
i was getting tired of disabling it and then it coming back on every hour
thank

I stopped using it after I found out it didn't work in fullscreen mode (I don't like using borderless windowed for a number of reasons).
