Author Topic: [NEWS]War zone in Dallas, 11 cops shot during protest, 5 dead. suspects escaped  (Read 17031 times)

The reddit live thread suggests that there might be bombs around the city. This is seriously messed up.
ok this has actually reached a whole new level of terrifying

I'm 100% for the militarization of police. We need Kent State again on a massive scale.
Multiple people killed in the Kent State shootings were non-protestor students going to their classes.

I don't know if you're trolling or not, but I've heard similar things before so I'm assuming this is authentic stupidity.

Well I don't need to defend myself from cops because I don't go to protests and shoot at police with sniper rifles.
of course, call for militarization for no other reason besides "I don't go to protests", cause forget those other unarmed civilians who'll be getting shot at with tear gas, bullets rubber or lead, etc, you're not caught up in the mess so who cares about the other's well-being.

It's not about shooting people who disagree with the government it's about people who shoot at cops because they're indignant pieces of stuff. Unless you're just bitching about me referencing "Kent State" in which I also think that we should shoot protesters who throw rocks at police.
It's entirely about shooting people who disagree with the government, why do you think the National Guard was at Kent in the first place you cunt. They could've protested without any quarrel but then the NG showed up for no reason at all but besides to have a fight because they disagreed with what they were saying, if they had agreed they wouldn't have done a thing.

And throwing a rock at anyone without probable cause is not right, but they shouldn't be killed for it you sick forget.

But it makes cops feel more safe which means they're less likely to fire on someone in a pressured situation. So it actually reduces violence. If people were 'more afraid of police' they would be more likely to be compliant, which would result in less police shootings. Which also reduces violence.
source?

from what I've seen simply putting a gun in a police officers hands makes them feel empowered and dominant, same goes for any civilian and average joe, so what the hell is a full suit of riot gear going to do to change that except intensify that dominance? Being afraid of police won't reduce violence or shootings, it'll only introduce more.

uhh I just opened up one of the Dallas City Police scanners to a transmission from a cop's radio with the blaring sounds of gunfire and then silence.

this is some forgeted stuff christ.

just
literally proof that BLM itself is tribal, the forget is wrong with these people.

I'm with you man

You can kill someone by throwing a rock at them so yeah they should be shot at

I'm sure those 11 cops who got shot in Dallas felt pretty dominant

I mean, 'BLM' isn't an actual organization. The person in that picture is obviously tribal, but throwing out the slogan 'Black Lives Matter!' doesn't automatically group you in with this guy that likes to see cops get killed.

The thing I don't understand about this particular brand of stupidity you're spouting is that militarized police is an inherently non-conservative belief. Giving police carte blanche to shoot whoever they want means that the central government has even more power to do stuff like take your guns. It's so funny how you guys are just so tribal that it Annoying Oranges your own established beliefs.

When is it justified to throw a rock at a police officer? Legitimately curious.
theyre taking your guns and burning all the dixie flags

I was under the impression that the militarization of police implied the use of military equipment and tactics by law enforcement officers. Not shooting random civilians? I'm not sure if anyone is in support of that.

How is the "you're tribal" card already getting pulled? I'm willing to bet at-least one of those 11 officers were black.

Some people are saying that both suspects have been captured.
More than 2 suspects have been taken into custody apparently, there's still one person in a standoff with the cops.

You're asking if anyone is in support of law enforcement officers shooting random civilians?

You must have a pretty bad memory. You were supporting just that only a short time ago.

Well I don't think the NG just opened up on random civilians. I think there was unacceptable collateral damage which happens a lot in violent protest situations but I still wouldn't blame the NG personally. Maybe the Fallujah killings are a better brown townogy.

Well I don't think the NG just opened up on random civilians.
Doesn't matter. It's viewed pretty much incontrovertibly as an awful tragedy and you're the one advocating for more of it. Next time crack open a history book before you accidentally ask for more innocent people to get killed.
