Well I don't need to defend myself from cops because I don't go to protests and shoot at police with sniper rifles.
of course, call for militarization for no other reason besides "I don't go to protests", cause forget those other unarmed civilians who'll be getting shot at with tear gas, bullets rubber or lead, etc, you're not caught up in the mess so who cares about the other's well-being.
It's not about shooting people who disagree with the government it's about people who shoot at cops because they're indignant pieces of stuff. Unless you're just bitching about me referencing "Kent State" in which I also think that we should shoot protesters who throw rocks at police.
It's entirely about shooting people who disagree with the government, why do you think the National Guard was at Kent in the first place you cunt. They could've protested without any quarrel but then the NG showed up for
no reason at all but besides to have a fight because they disagreed with what they were saying, if they had agreed they wouldn't have done a thing.
And throwing a rock at anyone without probable cause is not right, but they shouldn't be killed for it you sick forget.
But it makes cops feel more safe which means they're less likely to fire on someone in a pressured situation. So it actually reduces violence. If people were 'more afraid of police' they would be more likely to be compliant, which would result in less police shootings. Which also reduces violence.
source?
from what I've seen simply putting a gun in a police officers hands makes them feel empowered and dominant, same goes for any civilian and average joe, so what the hell is a full suit of riot gear going to do to change that except intensify that dominance? Being afraid of police won't reduce violence or shootings, it'll only introduce more.
The reddit live thread suggests that there might be bombs around the city. This is seriously messed up.
ok this has actually reached a whole new level of terrifying
