when did this happen anyways? I was always under the impression that most african americans who went back to africa went on their own will (panafrican movement)
How do you not know this? It's common knowledge, read a history book.
We sent some blacks back to africa. We thought we were doing them a favor. In reality this backfired as the africans we sent back became what is known as an "invasive species" and made stuff worse in Africa.
We didn't educate these black slaves but whatever little knowledge they learned fromamerica they used it against the tribal villagers in Africa.
