It's mostly a bannable offense when it's done stupidly, like, bumping a dead topic just to do that, or spamming for the sole purpose of getting page king

nah there was a ban spree a while back for people on page 200 or 100 on nickpb drama iirc, and badspot just mandated no more king of page # or ban.

A post that just says nothing but "It is the current page number" is literally just spam. Page kings are worse by nature because it becomes a competition to see who can post the most impressive spam. It was handicapped before it was bannable, surprised it didn't catch on earlier.

Yeah they've shown off working seamless multiplayer in some tech demos before. Pretty impressive stuff
