Author Topic: Petition to recognize BLM as terrorists. Petition reached 100,000!  (Read 32896 times)

blm is not tribal- their ideals are promotion of freedom and respect for black people. There are a lot of people who follow the movement and interpret it as 'kill all white people' but that's not what it stands for. kool kids klub on the other hand is a white supremacy group. They promote power to white people. The two may be comparable, but not in ideology and practice.

BLM - black people deserve respect and equality in society
kool kids klub - white people are the top of society
That reminds me exactly of the "Feminism is about equality and only that" argument

feminism is a movement and concept that stands for exactly that. Though not all feminists follow this concept (ie cis males should die etc etc) the definition of feminism stands true

this petition isn't going to get anywhere because BLM is not a centralized movement. there is no BLM president sending out BLM memos telling people to go shoot cops.

it's like trying to label anonymous as a terrorist organization. there isn't any organization to begin with, just a bunch of people labeling themselves

Save it for another time pal
'the sky is red'
"Well its actually blue but close enough"
'shut up youre going offtopic now'

'the sky is red'
"Well its actually blue but close enough"
'shut up'
I was drawing a comparison between the arguments

While I agree with this, I still feel something needs to be done about this type of person.

this brother calls himself the leader of a peaceful protest movement? what a spineless forget

While urging people to shoot random cops makes you a terrible person, it's not really illegal. Direct threats of violence (that you're planning to commit yourself) are illegal, but you can urge other people to be violent all you want as long as there's no actual conspiracy to commit a crime. In defense of the other protestors, it didn't seem like anyone else was on board with what he was saying.

The guy in the video probably could have been arrested for disorderly conduct.
