you shant

On the extreme off-chance you'd consider using the actual fwooshy sounds from the game...

Nice job, though, Swollow. :D The sounds are nice either way.
damn i could have used those but I like it how it is now

nice compression, hotshot

this is a big problem with sound files in blockland, you need to compress them to not slam players with DL times

settings I use:
  • 32000 Hz project rate
  • export as .wav with unsigned 8-bit PCM encoding

iirc, 32000 Hz generates some extremely quiet white-noise that you normally won't hear, unless there's a lot of silence at the end of your sound. This tends to be extremely noticeable at certain times.
Unless I'm just doing something wrong or my ears are much more sensitive than need be.

you are, the sounds have no white noise at the end when exported at 32000 Hz

compare them yourself - I've attached them

There is white noise. It's just so barely noticeable since the sound is so short. Also the sound itself changes a bit D:

this addon
is
ok i guess

We're getting there!
Overwatch in Blockland will happen.
In 2020, but it'll happen.

Features
No alligators
why
alligators need to be a part of every mod released

change the dash noise to an alligator bellowing and everybody will be happier

I added a non mandatory update

v1->v1a
-Added a variable called tracerDashZ that by default is not enabled, if it is enabled on a datablock their dashes will also affect their z movement

v1a->v1b
-Made it so if z dashing is enabled you can not die from fall damage while dashing
