Problem:ms3d Material

Author Topic: Problem:ms3d Material  (Read 1148 times)

I'm having on-going problems with trying to apply materials in ms3d. I've tried numerous times, selecting the image, the group, and applying, ( Not sure if/how to use the texturecoordinater) And whats worse, when i try my model in-game.. it some-how uses the poke-ball material...

I don't know what i'm doing wrong, though i am pretty new to the modelling side of blockland.

Well... first of all Go yo groups/then click on your object it would say somthing like geosphere or another type of thing/ any way click on it then down in the middle it says select click on that then go into meteareals then click on new and whare it says none click on that it will show a thing for you to get your pic then get your pic and say assign  :cookieMonster:

then after all hat it says Default in a box change that to sphere map

Can anyone explain in abit more depth, and with better spelling?

So far i've been trying by ;
Selecting the groups
Putting the texture where it has the first "None"
Assigning to the groups
Right clicking on view, and clicking "Textured"
And then exporting, but i get either invisible, or just no texture at all.

Edit; Nobody told me i had to put the texture files in add-ons/shapes.. :P
