amidst new anti-terror legislation, the russian parliament has passed measures preventing people from talking about religion outside of its respective places of worship (christianity in churches, islam in mosques, judaism in synagogues, etc.), meaning talking about religion in public or at home is henceforth illegal. these measures also put a stop to proselytizing--spreading the word of one's faith to others in hopes of getting them to convert. jehovah's witnesses are understandably upset at the latter measure.

putin's also done something right out of a history book and purged all of his naval officers in the baltic sea for reasons of corruption and insubordination. his officers had refused orders to fire on and scramble against american military presences in the baltic, resulting in their current state of unemployment.

If it weren't for the second part I would have liked this

What does this mean? Wouldn't that start a war?

Russia cant do anything right

What does this mean? Wouldn't that start a war?
there have been incidents between american and russian air- and watercraft for a few months now. the russians instigate conflict over international airspaces and waters so as to avoid any diplomatic ramifications ("we're merely exercising our military," etc.)

putin invaded crimea a few years ago which could have started a war, but NATO backed out of it, so he's just continuing to push us to see how far he can get

Jesus Christ

Oh my stars

forget Putin. What a pathetic, petty man.

Russia steadily becoming an even worse place to live
