good advice for anywhere i say :D

remember every line of the navy seals copypasta so you can stuff talk people.

when you get to firearms training point the gun at the drill sergeant and everybody there will salute you with respect.
Pull the trigger to pay respects

Srsly tho from what I heard from my marine friends try not to draw to much attention to yourself, don't forget up too bad etc. Also something about volunteering for fire watch, but I don't remember what they said about that exactly.

finger on the trigger only when aiming at your own squad

Probably won't be an issue; I was varisty XC and am quite comfortably in shape. But yeah, I've heard navy basic is more or less the same as army just with less rucking, so maybe a bit easier.

From what I heard they are easier but sometimes your drill sergeant's two brain cells will hit each other and he'll make you do harder work to save face

Why would the Navy be at an inland Army base? To answer your question: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Naval_Station_Great_Lakes

imo the advice isn't good, you should wait till marriage before doing what you said.
