Amidst a rapidly growing country, Benito Blue Meanie soon sees fit to try diplomacy. Meetings are requested with the Tsardom of Bulgaria's Tsar, Boris III.
Although, while diplomacy occurs to the East of Italian borders, the South sees a storm that some may have predicted to come. An ultimatum is directed towards Greece, requesting them to join under the Kingdom of Italy. However, at the same time this is sent, infantry, motorized, & light armor forces begin their invasion of Greek territory, the navy moving their concentration from the Adriatic to the Mediterranean & Aegean Sea. With the weaker Greek military, and Blue Meanie's view of the Greek people & culture, Benito orders a softer treating of surrendering Greek military individuals or citizens under Italian occupation. Battle commanders & other forms of officers and superiors who had previously fought in and acquired experience from the Western Balkan War are called again to command the forces in the south.
Infantry reserves hold back to quell any unrest in Balkan territories that may rise from the continuation of Italy's mobile war machine.
