erdogan has a history of making a complete ass out of turkey and its people. for example he de-funds schools and bulldozers western universities to make the country more turkish. he's also got really wild fantasies of grandeur--like becoming a sultan or some stuff

it's also known that he's corroborated with supplying CIA

Not to mention how he's repeatedly oppressed independent journalism in his country, along with supposedly getting people in the EU arrested for insulting him.

It's incredibly biased and unprofessional journalism meant to spur a reaction in an attempt to push an agenda. They're also known to misrepresent issues.
