skytv trademarked the word "sky"?
Not sure if "Sky" is the trademark, or "SkyTV" or "BSkyB", or all three, but they have something.
And they're eager to defend it. Skype and Microsoft's SkyDrive were both refused European trademarks after Sky took them to court.

They don't like anything with Sky in the name.

yet you were the first one to bring stuff up from may.
i'm not holding a grudge i'm just showing that it's handicapped to try to start stuff like this.

They don't like anything with Sky in the name.
It reminds me of that time that King.com unsuccessfully tried to copyright the word "Candy".

It reminds me of that time that King.com unsuccessfully tried to copyright the word "Candy".
What about The Fine Bros, where they tried to copyright the word "react"?

When cret tries to keep his prolapsed star fish in

mcjob are you gonna get banned for flaming in this thread too :/

Jesus christ forums, this thread is already a train wreck

Delay most likely wont happen because
Quote
"We don't want to stop the launch, but if the formula is used we'll need to have a talk."
and
Quote
Genicap goes on to say that Hello Games hasn't properly licensed the use of their Superformula, and will need to do so before the game launches.
All they have to do is license it. And if it costs them money its no problem because hello games is probably already is swimming in it because its literally the most sold game on steam.
also its 60 loving bucks wich is allot for an indie game
if they dont buy the license and delay it again I will honestly send stuff trough the mail to hello games

except like they'll probably ask for a % of each game sold prior to and post release which can be a sizeable chunk of cash.

though it may be a good sign in that the algorithm they use to generate species and worlds and stuff is actually pretty good or at least worth suing over

I can imagine the next excuse if they delay it again:

"Our lead programmer broke the toilet and stuff went everywhere in our office bathroom, yes we're delaying the game more so we can have time to fix and clean this mess, please understand."
