but why would you play a game for so long if it really sucked?
cuz it was loving addicting plus i made a lot of mods when it was first released. I think i was one of the first modders on starbound

but why would you play a game for so long if it really sucked?

For me, it was to make sure the devs actually did something with the game each update. I would play each version thouroughly and make sure that it sucked or not. Guess what, each version sucked, such a good concept gone to loving waste..

They didn't deliver on much of what they said they were going to
And all that was supposed to be finished by the end of 2012

I remember them explicitly saying that each race was gonna have its own origin story, goal, and storyline. Don't think that's the case.

"this will be the greatest game," said the developers

"this is not the greatest game," said the community

They also made risk of rain pain in the ass

This is the same question I ask myself whenever I look at my TF2 or GMod playtime, since I really don't like them yet my hours logged are huge.

Chuckleforgets published Risk of Rain, they didn't make it. Hopoo made Risk of Rain.

my problem with it when i played it was that going to planet A to get ore A to go to planet B to get ore B to get to planet C to get ore C got really old. the new update might be better, i havent played yet.

the newer versions are going to planet A to do chore A to go to planet B to do chore B to get to planet C to do chore C

I encountered a room of laggy enemies and the person your doing the mission for says this

everbody hates it because they put boobs on the birds

yeah but at the very least the chores lead to fun missions

I hardly believe that scan x to progress missions and fetch quests are fun. If so, you must live a very boring and menial life.
