Author Topic: Do you read posts in voices based on user avatars?  (Read 1394 times)

no, I just read everyone's posts in Morgan Freeman's voice.

sounds much better.

I really can't help but read Eon's posts in Bernie Sanders' voice, and it's often hilarious to 'hear'. Probably his intention.

i make up different voices for everyone else

I can associate what's being said to a person's avatar but I can't put it into a specific voice.

I read every post in a shodan-esque voice, and posts that work well with it get screencapped, printed, and get put on the good post wall. The ones that don't work are still screencapped and printed but instead I burn them every friday night along with some trash in order to appease the higher-ups.

I hear all of blocklandblockocity's posts as catbug for some reason.

no
nah but i judge connotations based on avatar subconsciously
but yes
except it's not very subconscious. it's all but intentional
and I don't even think it's unfair. if you have an avatar that I don't like for one reason or another it probably reflects some aspect of your personality that I wouldn't like. or if you have an avatar I do like, same thing

nope

i do start to recognize certain avatars after people have had them for a while, and then when people change their avatars it takes me a second to figure out who they are

I read posts in voices based on how dumb they sound. The most frequently used voice is the 'slightly handicapped, but can still make semi-coherent sentences' voice.

everybody has the same voice in my head

unless you're thirteen

Well actually I lied.

lately when Jitank posts something stupid(so whenever he posts) I just imagine a small chimp smashing his hands into a keyboard while sobbing all over himself crying about "injustice"
I do this for my own amusement because lets be honest a chimp could form a sentence better than that buffoon

i think it's just a generic voice unless there's some other cue like text over a picture of a character
