only sucks if you let it suck. my high school years have been great

i just graduated high school this last year and i'm taking a year or two off to save monies for college

i plan to just push through and get all my schooling over with while i'm still in the groove of gettin up and going to class n stuff

im planning on skipping college because im a poor bastard and don't have time FOR THIS stuff I WON'T EVEN MAKE ANY MORE MONEY I DON'T HAVE ANY PASSION IN WHAT I DO I JUST WANT MONEY

if you just want money you should still go to college.  just go to a community college and pick a vocational degree that is in high demand, like welding or industrial maintenance.

Speaking of which I am currently about to start my second year of Welding and Fabrication at my local community college, after that I'm planning on going to a larger university for a bachelor's in civil engineering.

you could do cheap community or technical college or go to a college that has paid co-op options so that you'll alternate work and study and graduate with work experience, inceasing your chances of landing a job because experience > degrees these days

exactly.  nowadays there is really no excuse not to go to college, because nowadays college is a lot more broad than white-collar and higher degrees.  there are plenty of blue-collar options.
