so today I got some message from my banks automated fraud system on my phone that said something like "ayy did you make this purchase of $1.00 exactly? reply YES or NO". Well I didn't so I typed "No", I then receive another text saying my card has been blocked and that I need to contact my bank. I freak the forget out bc idek what's happening, so I decide to check my bank account's transaction history and I see this



now at this point I'm genuinely concerned for my security and whether or not anything else has been compromised, because I haven't left my Debit card out in the open at all since I've had it so I have no clue how they even got access to it to begin with, all while freaking the forget out even more because I just lost 90% of my entire balance to some cunt spending it on god knows what in a Walmart. called my bank, cancelled my card, went through all the shenags to make sure the transaction maybe doesn't go through and now I just got home from work and hoping that this stuff doesn't happen again.

Who ever it was probably skimmed your debit. They don't have to phish or steal your account login to do something like this. In fact, just having your bank log in wouldn't compromise your card information, your bank website shouldn't have that info easily available. It had to have been either skimmed, or you got REALLY loving unlucky when someone tried cloning some cards and your numbers actually worked.

Or maybe your comp had a virus and when you went to buy something online, they stole your numbers. Dunno.
