the only possible """"medical"""" benefit to smoking weed would be to increase appetite and lessen pain quicker during chemotherapy
even then you don't have to smoke it/get high to gain the benefits towards that
it's purely recreational

Schedule 1 means that there is chance that official funding can be made for actually studying the drug. You seriously think marijuana is the same as cocaine? Even without state funded trials, there's plenty of evidence and users who use marijuana and elements from marijuana, like CBD, to treat things like epilepsy.

If you care at all on the subject, a really good series to watch is Weediquette. Its informative and entertaining.

care to explain?
You can use marijuana for things other than smoking. Honestly I think this has a lot to do with big pharma not wanting med to take over the painkiller market so they can continue selling OPIOD painkillers.

ok

when did i say that

i really don't and with a name like weediquette i believe it's only informative and entertaining to stoners in the same way that a show like antique roadhouse is only entertaining and informative to old people and antique collectors

just because it's not medically beneficial to him doesn't mean the stuff doesn't have some medicinal properties lmao

The whole point is that you think its good its staying schedule 1. If you seriously want unbiased and "non weed-based-website" information, it needs to be at least schedule 2. Its literally a catch 22: you want unbiased evaluation, yet that cant happen because the government won't allow it, but yet you say its good that they can't evaluate it. That's why you look like an ignoramus.

when did i say that
If you didn't know, the DEA was talking about lowering the category of drugs marijuana is on. Currently, it's on the same level as cocaine and heroin. When you say "Good" to the drug staying there, you are saying that weed is as bad as much harder and more addictive drugs. Judging by your responses though, I guess you didn't know that so it's more of a misunderstanding than anything.

Why are you posting then? If you don't want to talk about the drug, don't on post in the thread about the drug. Not to mention that's some classic judging of a book by its cover.

i don't eat the devil's salad anyways

care to explain?
there are 2 chemical components to the plant, THC (the hallucinogen) and CBD (the medicinal part)

Getting high off THC isn't really dangerous at all unless driving (but as i've been high myself i don't think driving high is much of a problem either. on that note, has there even been a statistical correlation between car accidents and driving whilst high?)

CBD is anti-inflammatory, anti-anxiety, anti-pain, and anti psychotic.

my mother works in the medical marijuana industry and has helped many cancer patients, those who suffer from mental ailments such as PTSD and schizophrenia. to say it's purely recreational is just ignorant really.

i said good to it remaining illegal because that's what the title says
any replies towards me believing that it's on the same scale of damage as cocaine and heroin is a misunderstanding of my post
