players can host there own servers
there is a main server hosted by the devs but it doesn't do everything special except be really big on the serverlist
no queues, no seamless condo transitions, nothing to separate it from other (albeit empty) servers.
I think the fact that the condos aren't synced up to the lobbies seamlessly might be the reason this game isn't going to do well.
The entire reason people visited their suites was because it was very easy to access and you used it to wait for the gamemode queues to shorten. Now, it's a loading-screen away and gamemodes don't have queues because anybody can individually host a gamemode as well. People have no reason to visit other people's condos either because of this, so the social aspect of the game gets pretty ruined. Not to mention lobbies are also individually hosted.
To be fair, the game does well what it's intending otherwise. Groups of friends will still do stuff in condos, and play minigames. Other than that, I think they've lost the social charm to it.
