Author Topic: help me: graphical glitches in dolphin  (Read 3083 times)

screenshots are from a super smash bros brawl hack but these glitches happen in every other game i run in dolphin

my graphics settings:

these glitches only happen when i use direct3d 11. i don't like using opengl as emulation speed decreases a lot.
my graphics drivers are up-to-date.
i'm using the latest version of dolphin.

i can't for the life of me figure out what's wrong with it.
anyone know what i should do?

Use another emu.
what other emulator? as far as i know dolphin is the only wii emu out there

Not sure. I used Dolphin for PS2 games and it had so many issues that I passed on to PSCX or something like that.

try changing the backend to opengl >not reading the bolded words

I guess try using a different backend that isn't opengl? I don't think there's much you can do until more updates come out

Are you ok?
You need some water or something?

What? I did use Dolphin for Pac Man World 2. It had annoying artifacts.

A better way of saying something like that would be 'GameCube/Wii games that are also on multiple platforms like the PS2'.

Dolphin is basically the only noteworthy GameCube/Wii emulator out there which is of quality anyway as far as I know.

i get graphical glitches when i play paper mario TTYD

the enemies in a crowd you have to hammer your way through don't even appear aside from their shadows, the "chapter start" sequence shows black squares instead of letters & when i sleep in an inn, rather than lying down, mario becomes a shadow much like in chapter 4

that and the game freezes when professor frankly is about to take you into the rogueport sewers
