Author Topic: Not allowed to say "honey" at work now because of loveual harrassment  (Read 2788 times)

Let's get one thing straight. This wasn't me who got in trouble.

Apparently at the Bridgeton, MO Hardee's, a man filed a loveual harrassment suit against Hardee's because the woman at the drive thru window (in a predominately black neighborhood, where most black women stereotypically say "honey") addressed him as that, to which he freaked out and said, "I'm not your "honey"". My manager brought in the new rule today and we all laughed at it of course, but we're not allowed to call people that now (doesn't affect me but nonetheless).

Welcome to the real world, Tumblr.
