Author Topic: thought: what if the forums had an age limit, and how high should it be  (Read 1906 times)

i've been noticing a lot of new and young forumers (mostly 11 or under) making all the older forumers annoyed with their constant spamming and bad content

so here's a thought i had: what if the forums had an age limit, and how high should it be?

i honestly think 14 is enough, most people have aged enough to know what's right and what's wrong

and if they haven't they really shouldn't be on the internet in the first place

and also, if their age is under and they register anyways (bypass it by typing a fake year or something), and mention their actual age, their ban length should just be until they turn 14. or perma. either or.

thoughts? would it be helpful, would it even work, etc. etc.

12 or 13+

put them in line when they're young

Pretty sure it used to be around 13+

14 or until you can use proper grammar

18+ because of content.

...but 12+ so we can still meet girls

you mean minimum age not age limit

forget all of you kids. Ban everyone under 21.

if you're under 18 you undergo a process where there's a floodcheck specifically for you and you're required to read the forum rules every day or two

other than that no limit

forget all of you kids. Ban everyone under 21.
nobody over 18 allowed

ot: 13 because of coppa

ban everyone under 30 years old

The Murderous Cop, you annoy me with your constant spamming and bad content.
