'Connection Accepted' problem with dedicated

Semi-often, when I join my dedicated server (desktop), it just says 'Connection Accepted' and does nothing. I really need a fix for this, because when this happens, I generally need to go through a very long process, or wait for the better part of two weeks.

Are you joining through the server list?

Try joining using the direct IP button and putting in localhost or your local address found using ipconfig in the CMD (search for it if using windows). Join either the IPv4 adress or the default gateway, I forget which

Don't use localhost, use 127.0.0.1
You'd join the IPv4 address through the second method.
