I have your first 5 digits... AA8HY

But really, your first 5 characters of your key is just your BLID encoded in base 32, as Scout said. You can get anyone's first 5 characters, it doesn't compromise your key
Alright cool. Good luck to you!
Yea.

I've decided to move forward with the service. I've begun working on the node/wrapper/master infrastructure. There's many faces of this that need to get done; the website, payment management, the web console, the VPS infrastructure, and the node/wrapper system. I'm not going to set a solid launch date, but I'm targeting the end of next month.

Thanks for the info, I'm excited!

I just have to find an alternative in the meanwhile

you should use hammerhost i heard it's reliable

I was honestly surprised to hear Blocknet failed so quickly, was considering using it at some point.
Guess this might be an even better alternative, though. Thankfully I still have my actual Blockland key.
One thing for sure, though: Badspot didn't think the steam release as through as he should have. Dedicated hosting for Steam Users is basically impossible without paying extra.

HammerHost shut down about 2 months ago.

I wish someone would just make a management tool that we could utilise with a VPS of our own choosing.

Why not use RTB Hosting???

If you're using Blockland keys for this in any way I'd be willing to donate my second key. I never use it anyways.

There was one but looks like someone decided to stop developing for it.

I could create one in C# but I'm not sure if it's worth making it (motivation + if people want to use this)

I'd also likely extend the web-panel, server wrapper, and in-game client to be available to all, not just Glass Hosting servers.

not if its on a linux server. ive heard plenty of bad things about wine not doing too well with large scale servers

working on it
the idea i have is to create a TCP server on blockland that the menu would connect to for interfacing. i plan on letting the menu generate a key/random string each time the server is started, and that key would be sent with each command to prevent someone just coming in and wreaking havoc

also working on a guide on setting up a server on a VPS, it's far from done
