I can't say I'm gonna miss him. His style of video (find some other guy's content, talk about it for half an hour while splicing in clips when relevant, all the while some irrelevant bs happens in the background) never really gelled with me, but I don't think that youtube should be putting in these kinds of rules to late into its popularity. Plenty of people have established themselves on the old rules which allowed content that they can no longer monetize and pulling the rug out from under them is pretty forgeted.
