Author Topic: THE BLOCKLAND ASSOCIATION AGAINST FULL A PRESSES  (Read 4929 times)

Full A press will have you start and stop moving to the left. A full D press will have you start and stop moving to the right.
Half a press of each, you would never stop moving both left and right. And maybe, just maybe, you could achieve infinite speed.

By God, you've got it! This could s*ve so much time! No more 12 hours of building speed!

honestly these parallel universe phenomena within n64 games are one of my favorite things because they are so loving arbitrary yet require so much time to pull off
they are near useless yet so loving interesting

Well, TJ "Daswiruch" Yoshi, this parallel universe phenomena you speak of has real life every day uses and has led to many breakthroughs in the scientific community. A half A press is not useless, a half A press saves time and A presses on so many menial tasks in life. To say it's arbitrary is a huge dismissal to an entire science. I'd say life is more arbitrary than half A presses, personally.

why would you link to a paper mario parallel universes video while not linking to pannenkeok's video that actually started the meme you're using

If you notice, that was a citation. I used that to cite a source when I claimed that Paper Mario also had parallel universes.

BUT INTEL
AN A PRESS IS AN A PRESS
YOU CAN'T SAY IT'S ONLY A HALF

i made the official pannenkoek controller

He still needs the A button to do Half-A presses.

Maybe make the A button sticky and have to pull it with strong force to let go.

Well im going out of this thread now. Im moving in parallel universes.

But first, let's talk about parallel universes.

Why aim for half A presses instead of none at all?

Why aim for half A presses instead of none at all?
because there are levels that are unbeatable in Mario 64 without pressing A at all.
