Ya did tho, you also went from one generalization to another generalization lol
but i didn't. i have never heard a metal song which i liked and thus i can say that i don't like metal. there is no generalization.
if you can find a metal song i like then i am wrong, but it has not happened in 17 years.

Nice try to let us know exactly what our attitudes should be towards various types of people and behavior, metal music. Metal music insists that people prefer “cultural integrity” and “multicultural sensitivity” to health, food, safety, and the opportunity to choose their own course through life. That lie is a transparent and strained effort to keep us from noticing that its fantasy is to muzzle its nemeses. It dreams of a world that grants it such a freedom with no strings attached. Welcome to the world of particularism! In that nightmare world it has long since been forgotten that metal music is desperate for attention. This is equivalent to saying that I am unquestionably annoyed with metal music's insistence that its roorbacks enhance performance standards, productivity, and competitiveness. Sorry, metal music, but that's not a fact. That's intellectual dishonesty bordering on lunacy. If metal music wanted to speak the truth, it should have said that every cold-blooded mattoid must be tempted at times to spit on his hands, hoist the black flag of solipsism, and begin to trade facts for fantasy, truth for myths, academics for collective socialization, and individual thinking for group manipulation. That's sufficient evidence for me, at least, to conclude that metal music is a pouty, overbearing pseudo-intellectual. I use that label only when it's true. If you don't believe it is, then consider that the central preconception in metal music's paranoid style is the belief in the existence of a vast, homophobic, preternaturally effective international conspiratorial network designed to galvanize an invidious hysteria, a large-scale version of the intransigent mentality that can siphon off scarce international capital intended for underdeveloped countries. That should serve as the final, ultimate, irrefutable proof that if you think that little green men live on Mars, then think again. The take-away message of this letter is that metal music's conduct can be described as less than perfect. We should hold these words to our bosom, use them as a shield against metal music's inequities, and wield them unilaterally against those who would empty garbage pails full of the vilest slanders and defamations on the clean garments of honorable people.

wrong. i don't like the sound of any metal song that i've ever heard; it's not a generalization.

And that makes it all bad? That is a generalization. I dislike 99% of the rap music I've listened to but I'm smart enough to not say "rap sucks" because virtually all genres have something good to offer.

but i didn't. i have never heard a metal song which i liked and thus i can say that i don't like metal. there is no generalization.

You said "metal sucks stuff", not "I dislike metal". If that's what you meant to say you should word it better next time.

"rap" also has a much larger variety of types of music.

Most are fvlsees and posvrs (like Deafheaven and anything from Nu-Metal) but it's still a very large, diverse genre.

When you have an artist that can make an amazing album closer like this

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kRcFemSnmqw#t=1m52s

and then make an acoustic version equally as good, and in some opinions better,

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gx6q9PFguVQ

its one hell of a time to be alive for metal.

"rap" also has a much larger variety of types of music.

There are so many subgenres in metal it hurts. There is no other possible genre that compares to metal on the level of names and stuff people will make up for it. I have to attribute this to the fact that jazz and metal are one of the few genres where musicians are pushing the boundaries of what is possible with an instrument and composition.

he needs to get an ALTERATION on the way he thinks

"rap" also has a much larger variety of types of music.

There's like 100 different genres of metal
